Milk glazing (or milk roasting) is an ancient and interesting technique of decorating ceramics. This technique had been lost for many centuries. In ancient times potters used milk glazing to waterproof their pottery.

Milk glazed ceramic pieces have a very attractive look a rosy rich brown with a light gloss. They are as attractive as they are functional.
